Award in IT User Skills - Level 1

This course is tutor-led throughout and is designed to build confidence and develop computing skills, knowledge and understanding. The course aims to equip learners with the basic range of transferable skills for the modern workplace. You will work through each practical activities, assignments, skills practice and homework.

On this course you will be taught three units:

Word - file management and e-document production using Word
Excel - creating spreadsheets and graphs using Excel
PowerPoint - presentation graphics using PowerPoint

This course takes place in the evenings.

Eligibility requirements

The next step for students who want to improve their office IT skills for work and business. Suitable for those with some computer experience.
