Grow London Local support provider: acceptance criteria and tier assignment
Acceptance criteria
We’re always looking to connect with brilliant organisations who share our mission to help London’s small businesses start, grow and thrive. If you offer practical, high-quality support for entrepreneurs and small business owners, we’d love to hear from you.
To make sure every business gets the best possible experience, we review all potential support providers against a simple set of criteria. We’re particularly keen to work with:
- Experienced providers with a strong track record of supporting small businesses and can demonstrate the quality and impact of their support.
- Providers with clear, transparent and accessible support offers, particularly those that offer free or low cost support to SMEs.
- Specialist organisations offering practical support across areas such as finance, marketing, innovation, legal advice and business growth.
- Inclusive providers with the capacity to support London’s small business community at scale and are committed to making their support accessible to a diverse range of founders.
- Organisations that understand the needs and opportunities of London’s SME landscape.
- Professional and trusted providers who meet relevant standards and requirements.
Tier assignment
Based on the information that you provide when submitting your Expression of Interest form, you’ll be assigned one of the following tiers:
Self-serve:
You can promote your support offerings for free on the Grow London Local website and receive client referrals from our in-person support team. You’ll also have access to a performance dashboard to track engagement with your support offerings.
Supported:
You’ll get all of the benefits of ‘self-serve’, plus you’ll be assigned a Relationship Manager to help with questions, resolve issues, guide you through our service, and support you in using the Provider Portal. They may also highlight relevant profiling opportunities.
Managed:
In addition to the above, your Relationship Manager will work with you to promote and develop your support offerings, optimise your profile, and boost your visibility across Grow London Local. You’ll also receive insights to help shape your support offerings.
