The Introductory Award in Accounting gives small business owners and entrepreneurs a real insight into the world of accounting.
It's the perfect course to pick up accounting terms and gain additional support with literacy and numeracy.
Developed in consultation with employers, AAT qualifications equip you with the key finance skills modern businesses are looking for, and are well known and trusted by employers.
The course consists of four units: mathematics for accounting, essential accounting procedures, creating business documents and accounting in a professional environment.
On completion of the course, you will be awarded an Introductory Award in Accounting (AAT Access) – Level 1.
This qualification allows learners to progress onto AAT Level 2 and 3.
Eligibility requirements
Level 1 qualification in English and Maths or working at a good level of English and Maths as evidenced by GCSE results or initial diagnostic assessments (adults). You should have basic IT skills.
