Baseline Briefing

Our Baseline Briefing incorporates the psychology behind hackers and defenders and features the latest advice and insights from industry experts and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), as well as offering examples of modern cyber security breaches. The briefing reimagines the learning pathway and is specifically designed to raise attendees’ baseline level of knowledge by providing accessible, effective advice to those with little or no knowledge of cyber security. 

The training is NCSC-assured and CPD® certified so you and your business can be confident that the advice is relevant and up to date. Topics featured include: social engineering, phishing and account security as well as secure connections, malware and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. 

Delivered fortnightly on Tuesday and Thursday, the Baseline Briefing is available at 1030 on the Zoom video conferencing platform. Delegates can register for a date and time that suits their routine via Cyber Griffin's website and all sign up information will be automatically sent using Eventbrite.

Through attendance, delegates will understand how to identify socially engineered attacks and how to mitigate them to protect their personal data. They will explore account security and secure connections to understand how to stay safe while online. The briefing will describe how to protect their systems from malware attacks, while also sharing ways to keep agile workforces safe in the office and at home.
