The Birkbeck Climate Festival is a cross-disciplinary event designed to showcase the diverse knowledge and perspectives needed to tackle the challenges of climate change.
Bringing together leading researchers, passionate students and industry experts, the festival highlights Birkbeck’s research and teaching expertise across climate-related programmes.
The Climate Festival takes place across multiple sessions on 17, 18 and 19 March.
Sessions include (not the full list of available sessions):
- Creativity as a climate ally: greenwashing, propaganda and solutions.
- A four-day week to save the environment?
- From planet to place: your zero-waste food journey.
- Decoupling rhetoric from reality: financing the transition to net zero.
