Building high-performing teams

This practical two-hour course is designed for small business owners, entrepreneurs and new managers who are developing their people-management skills and beginning to lead their workforce.

It supports those growing a business or taking on management responsibilities to build confidence in creating the right conditions for strong performance.

Eligibility requirements

Our courses are free for those who meet all of the following criteria:

• You live in a London/Greater London Borough*.
• You are not in full-time education.
• You have not achieved this qualification before.
• You are aged 19 or older on 31 August 2025.
• You have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning.

If you don't have permission to live in the UK for 12 months from the first day of learning there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG advisor that will contact you.

*Occasionally, funding may be available for learners outside London.
