This course is ideal for small business owners and their teams who are new to administration or looking to develop practical skills for office-based roles.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of business administration and gain confidence to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll learn:
- Professional behaviour in an office environment.
- How to provide effective administrative services.
- Roles and responsibilities of an administrator.
- Handling telephone calls and managing personal performance.
Qualification upon completion: BTEC Level 1 Award in the Principles of Business Administration.
Eligibility requirements
Our courses are free for those who meet all of the following criteria:
- You live in a London/Greater London Borough.
- You are not in full-time education.
- You have not achieved this qualification before.
- You are aged 19 or older on 31 August 2026.
- Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning.
If you don’t have permission to live in the UK for 12 months from the first day of learning, there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG adviser that will contact you.
