The purpose of this qualification is to support small business owners and staff who are responsible for safeguarding others and to help prevent radicalisation.
The course provides learners with an understanding of safeguarding principles and the importance of protecting vulnerable individuals.
Learners will develop knowledge of how to recognise the signs of abuse, understand the risks and indicators of radicalisation, and explore the potential consequences of illegal online activity.
On successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent.
This course has continuous monthly intakes. Once an application has been submitted, the admissions team will contact learners to provide support and confirm enrolment details.
Eligibility requirements
This course is available to adults aged 19 or over who have lived in the UK for more than three years. During enrolment, college staff will support you at the enrolment stage to confirm eligibility for the course.
