Beginning with a call with one of the London Ownership Hub staff, referrals are then offered access to the Co-operatives UK start-up programme, designed for people exploring the model and including free one-to-one advice.
This is for anyone who has heard of the co-operative model and is considering if it's the right one for their business or potential business.
Support is tailored to the referral's needs and business idea, but key learnings include:
- A deeper technical look at the co-operative model, its benefits and drawbacks
- Common challenges for co-operatives and tools to overcome them
- Tools and techniques for collective governance and decision-making
- Introduction to local and national co-operative networks
