Effective communication is key to building positive relationships, improving performance and reducing misunderstandings in the workplace or when running a business.
This workshop provides practical techniques to help small business owners and entrepreneurs communicate clearly and confidently in a professional environment.
What you learn
- How to contribute effectively in meetings.
- Asking the right questions.
- Overcoming barriers to listening.
- Using positive language and nonverbal communication.
- Developing an action plan for continued improvement.

Eligibility requirements
This course is free for those who meet all of the following criteria:
- You live in a London/Greater London Borough*.
- You are not in full-time education.
- You have not achieved this qualification before.
- You are aged 19 or older on 31 August 2025.
- Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning.
If you don't have permission to live in the UK for 12 months from the first day of learning there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG advisor that will contact you.
