Aims of the course
- To learn diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills
- Introduction to counselling skills theories, counselling skills and personal development and using counselling skills
Progression opportunities
Learners can progress on to level 3 award in counselling skills and theory or level 3 diploma in counselling skills.
Facilities
The course is delivered through blended learning including online assessments and face-to-face workshops.
Career options
The objectives of this qualification are to help learners to progress to similar qualifications at a higher level or progress to a role in which counselling skills are used.
