Croydon Adult Learning and Training (CALAT)
Customer service is a skill that continues to be in demand across a range of industries, and the City & Guilds qualification (Level 1) provides SMEs and entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in customer service roles.
CALAT offers an exciting 10-week course where you can develop an understanding of the importance of interaction, engaging and building a rapport with customers.
You learn how to deliver quality customer service, different communication methods, know how to provide good customer service and be able to deal effectively with customer queries, problems and complaints.
At the end of the course, you will receive the Customer Service Level 1 qualification.
The course is delivered online via zoom with CALAT's experienced and dynamic Customer Service tutor. Students will be offered one-to-one support from the tutor throughout the course, and will undertake a final written assessment.

Eligibility requirements
- Please note that due to our funding criteria we can only enrol eligible learners over the age of 19 at the start of the academic year who are permanent residents of a London Borough.
- You will need to attend an information/taster session before completing an assessment to check your current skills.
