Decarbonise your business and achieve net zero (short course)

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of how to measure, analyse and reduce your organisation's carbon footprint and achieve net-zero emissions.
You also learn how to effectively influence colleagues and stakeholders to adopt greener practices by communicating sustainability insights with impact.
The course comprises four online sessions from 2pm–5pm on 17, 20, 24 and 27 April.
The aim of the course is to help you develop confidence in aligning business practices with national and global sustainability goals, so that you can lead sustainability efforts within your organisation.
Gain an understanding of:
- the impact of climate change on businesses
- how to measure and reduce an organisation's carbon footprint
- strategies for achieving net-zero emissions
- UK legislation and incentives for carbon reduction
The course focuses particularly on sustainability managers from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who wish to understand their organisations' carbon emissions.
This course is accredited by The Carbon Literacy Trust. For those working in SMEs in London, you are able to receive a Carbon Literacy Certificate upon successful completion of the course to demonstrate your achievement. Carbon literacy is viewed as a highly desirable asset to many organisations.
As a learner on this course, you study alongside fellow professionals wishing to enhance their knowledge in the subject area, giving you the opportunity to make connections with like-minded colleagues and network.
You also receive a Birkbeck certificate of participation upon completion of the course.
