Capital City College’s Digital and Creative Skills Academy is running its third cohort of the Digital Marketing Pre-Internship Programme, a mentorship initiative led by an industry professional.

The programme helps adult learners, recent graduates and professionals seeking a career change understand how digital marketing strategies are developed, executed and measured in real business contexts.

We are inviting SMEs, startups and service providers to collaborate by offering paid pre-internship or apprenticeship opportunities. Partnering with us gives you access to motivated learners while shaping the next generation of digital marketing professionals.

Why partner with us?

  • Access motivated learners with fresh ideas and creativity.
  • Gain additional support for your digital marketing initiatives.
  • Support skills development by bridging the gap between theory and practice.
  • Receive a complimentary marketing strategy if your business is selected as a live client (limited places available).

How it works

Learners, under expert mentorship, will work on live client briefs to design and refine marketing strategies. Only a small number of partners are selected as live clients, but all participating businesses benefit by hosting trained interns at the end of the four-week programme.

Placements can be in-person, hybrid or virtual and all internships are expected to be paid to ensure fair opportunity.

Key dates

  • Application deadline for businesses: 24 October 2025.
  • Programme dates: 3–27 November 2025.

To explore partnership opportunities, contact our Work Experience Coordinator at digitalhub@capitalccg.ac.uk.

Eligibility requirements

Eligibility is open to businesses of all sizes who can provide paid placements, a clear project scope and committed mentorship. To ensure fair and meaningful collaboration, all partner businesses go through a selection process.
