Course details:
Courses run each year in September and February. Initial assessment is required, call to book up to one month before course start date.
Course learning outcomes
- Better understand a wide variety of different written texts and styles.
- Write a variety of texts such as letters, emails, blogs and articles.
- Discuss topics of interest, both familiar and unfamiliar, and give a short talk on a topic.
Please note: To successfully complete this course you must commit to 100% attendance and punctuality.
Eligibility requirements
- You will need an initial assessment (phone to book).
- Access to a laptop or tablet with internet, camera and microphone.
You will need to pass three exams: speaking and listening, reading and writing to achieve the English Functional Skills Level 1 qualification which is accredited by Pearson Edexcel. There is approximately two to four hours of homework per week.
