We've designed this webinar to help you understand why the government is introducing Making Tax Digital (MTD) and what it means now that the duty to use the system has now passed into law.
We clearly explain the key obligations (such as maintaining digital records and submitting quarterly updates) and outline how the changes to the system mean you can do your taxes more accurately and quickly.
We also walk through the core rules, who they affect and what individuals and businesses need to do to stay within the law.
Key takeaways from this session
- A clear understanding of what the law says about MTD. You'll gain a clear grasp of your obligations under MTD, including keeping digital records and submitting quarterly updates.
- Who is affected and when. You'll find out when the MTD rules start to apply to you, what action you must take, and the practical steps needed to keep to the key rules and deadlines.
- How to adopt digital processes smoothly. You'll get straightforward guidance on using compatible digital tools, integrating them into your routine and making the move to digital record-keeping as easily as possible.
