Help to Grow: Management Course for business leaders and owners

The Help to Grow: Management course equips you with the business expertise to increase your company's capabilities, build relationships with other leaders and achieve long-term sustainable growth.
This course involves weekly sessions from 29 June 2026 to 4 November 2026, including eight online taught modules and four face-to-face case study modules, purposefully designed to fit around the existing work of a busy SME leader.
To further develop your understanding and application, there are also smaller Peer Group meetings and one-to-one mentorship.
The programme has been structured into four themed stages to cover key business management topics:
- Strategies for growth and innovation.
- Engaging with customers.
- Building a sustainable and agile business.
- Operations and financial strategies.
Fee
This course is 90% funded by the Department of Business and Trade, meaning that as an SME business leader, you'll only pay £750.
Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for this course you must be a small or medium UK business owner or senior leader who has been in operation for more than a year, employ between five to 249 people and possess at least one link of management in the business structure.
