High streets beyond waste: Grants and advice for food and drink businesses

If you run a high street food and drink business, you can book a dedicated individual session with a business adviser to explore how ‘beyond waste’ ideas could benefit your business and the environment.
In a one hour chat you’ll review the materials, ingredients and products your business uses. Our adviser will then take what they learn to create a tailored action plan to help you save money, boost revenue or strengthen customer relationships.
After completing the session you’ll be invited to apply for a grant of up to £5,000 to help bring your chosen action to life with ongoing help from an adviser.
Who can apply?
This support is available to high street food and drink business (eat in or takeaway), such as:
- Pubs and bars
- Restaurants and diners
- Cafés and coffee shops
- Takeaway shops and kiosks
- Hot food market stalls and vans
To be eligible, your business must:
- Be small or medium-sized (fewer than 250 employees)
- Have a physical trading address in London, accessible to the public
- Be actively trading (i.e. not pre-start-up)
