Complete the essential safety, food, inclusion and workplace-awareness modules required for those entering a hospitality pathway without previously completing the Hospitality Skills Passport.
This course is also suitable for small business owners and their staff who want to gain practical insights into hospitality roles and sector expectations.
Tutor-supported online sessions connect MAPAL learning to realistic hospitality scenarios.
What the course covers
- COSHH and chemical safety.
- Health and Safety Levels 1 and 2.
- Food Safety Levels 1 and 2.
- Food allergens, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
- First Aid Awareness, Fire Safety Awareness, licensing, workplace scenarios and completion checks.
Eligibility requirements
To apply for this course, you must:
- Be aged 19 or over.
- Live in a London borough.
- Have eligible UK residency/status.
- Be unemployed or earning below the London Living Wage.
- A basic understanding of English will be required.
We will contact you to schedule an interview. Some previous cookery experience is helpful, but motivation, attendance and a willingness to work safely in a professional kitchen are most important.
