This apprenticeship provides the skills and knowledge to support business operations, with a strong focus on customer solutions.
Networking, servers, IT essentials, secure communications, programming and databases are typical tasks and projects undertaken by an information communications technician apprentice.
This apprenticeship covers the following:
- Level 2 Functional Skills Maths and English (if required)
This apprenticeship takes place at MULTIPLE LOCATIONS across the college and is ONLY available for 16- 18-year-olds. This course is FREE.

Knowledge/skills
- Maintenance and repair of system faults.
- Support for the roll-out, installation and commissioning of new systems or upgrades; installation and commissioning of networks
- Maintenance and repair of network equipment
- Installation, configuration or maintenance of ICT-related hardware and software
- Installation and commissioning of telecom networks
- Maintenance or repair of telecom network equipment

Qualifications
