Understanding mental health and wellbeing is essential for personal growth and supporting others.
This course is designed for anyone, including small business owners and entrepreneurs, who want to improve their own mental health awareness and learn practical ways to help family, friends or colleagues.
It's also suitable for those preparing for employment or looking to enhance their knowledge for professional development.

Qualification on completion: Introduction to Mental Health and Wellbeing Level 1 Award.

Eligibility requirements
Our courses are free for those who meet all of the following criteria:
- You live in a London/Greater London borough*.
- You are not in full-time education.
- You have not achieved this qualification before.
- You are aged 19 or older on 31 August 2026.
- Have permission to live in the UK for at least 12 months from the first day of learning.
If you don't have permission to live in the UK for 12 months from the first day of learning, there are exemptions which can be discussed with the IAG advisor that will contact.
