Level 3 national extended diploma in business

This qualification provides learners the knowledge, understanding and employable skills to gain business sector experience that will prepare them for further study or training.
The learning programme covers the following mandatory and optional units in Year 1 followed by a set of other mandatory and optional units in Year 2.
- Unit 1: Exploring business
- Unit 2: Developing a marketing campaign (external exam)
- Unit 3: Personal and business finance (external exam)
- Unit 4: Managing an event
- Unit 8: Recruitment and selection process
- Unit 10: Recording financial transactions
Learners must complete and achieve all these units to be eligible for progression to the extended diploma in business (year 2). This course is for free and for under 18's.
