Merton Adult Learning.
Construction and rail are important industries and green skills are a priority in Merton. The courses are planned to enhance the talent of individuals, impacting on their lives and on the local business needs of employers, and to support the Merton Local Plan.
We can help improve the knowledge and skills of individuals working in these areas. This supports employers with strengthening their workforce.
Courses include award levels in building and construction, health and safety in construction, rail track safety and occupational works supervision with CSCS card.
The courses cover learning on topics such as key practical industry skills and knowledge, health and safety risks and hazards, working safely and the importance of teamwork and communication.
All courses take place at venues in Merton, delivered by learning partners working on behalf of Merton Adult Learning.
There are various start dates over the year; most are short courses with the opportunity to progress to further learning.
