Opening doors to good work: Partnerships to support early talent

Inclusive recruitment delivers tangible business benefits. Good jobs and supportive working environments significantly improve staff retention, motivation and performance.

Yet, research shows that only 1 in 8 employers have recruitment, training or retention strategies for young people under 25 (British Chamber of Commerce). There is a pressing need for employers to rethink how they engage, recruit and support early talent.

Join Business in the Community (BITC) and the Mayor's Good Work Standard (GLA) team for a dynamic employer event focused on supporting early talent into good work. Part of Good Employment Week, this event celebrates fair, inclusive and sustainable employment across London.

Attendees will hear directly from employers about their inclusive hiring journeys and gain practical insights from expert organisations how partnerships can lead to success.

The event will explore how businesses can better support young people from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities, from lower socio-economic backgrounds and from ethnically diverse communities.
