Brunel University London is inviting applications for the fully funded award winning RIEm programme which helps UK businesses access innovation funding.
Since 2022, the programme has helped UK businesses secure more than £2.7 million in funding. RIEm participants have a 73% success rate of securing Innovate UK funding against the average rate of 5%-10% (RIEm Evaluation, 2024, S4W).
Brunel University London helps you with a research and innovation (R&I) needs assessment and strengthens your capacity to develop R&I strategy, proposal development and joint collaborative proposal development for funding. We can also offer you expert mentoring and one-to-one support.
Expert facilitation on R&I needs assessment and support for developing organisational specific R&I strategy and implementation plan.
Skills strengthening for developing collaborative funding proposal integrated with expert support and one-to-one mentoring.
Eligibility requirements
Criteria to join RIEm 2025:
- A UK SME with a turnover or investment of £100k with some staff employed on payroll
- A product/service/technology ready for development - described in 100 words
- To have achieved the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 for the proposed solution
- Little or no previous experience of applying for funding
- Commitment to attend the sessions and follow on tasks
