The Framework breaks down common and important skills down into four stages of progression and then into a sequence of learnable, measurable steps, taking an individual or business owner from an absolute beginner to mastery over time.
This means these skills go from being broad and abstract concepts to tightly focused criteria that can used to target their development.
Single entrepreneurs and a wide breadth of organisations are using the open-source framework in various ways. Businesses of all sizes and sectors commonly use the framework to support three main areas:
1) Education outreach: Businesses use the common language that the framework provides to bridge the gap between the language of education settings and the language of the world of work.
