Join Grow London Local for an accessible, friendly and productive networking event bringing together disabled entrepreneurs to share their success stories. Connect with like-minded business owners and learn together.
In this session, we will hear insights from disabled entrepreneurs within the creative industry.
Guest speaker: Mercedes Yearley, founder & CEO of Quest Soul Theatre CIC
Mercedes Yearley founded Quest Soul Theatre CIC, delivering inclusive and accessible creative art workshops for adults that spark positive wellbeing. Mercedes also serves on the Bromley Learning Disabilities Forum and Creative Health Forum, championing access, equity and innovation in community arts and mental health.
In the session, Mercedes will show how play encourages self-expression, empathy, communication and community.
Guest speaker: Zoe White, founder of Zinfinity
Zoe White is the founder of Zinfinity, a business that is all about being happy. Zoe is an inclusive jewellery designer-maker. She also runs inclusive creative workshops for all ages and abilities, covering a range of topics.
After going to university, and unable to find the right job that was willing to accommodate her disabilities, Zoe started her own business and also gained teaching qualifications.
Accessibility information
The event takes place on the ground floor. The venue has a hearing loop, adjustable and dimmed lighting and it’s fully wheelchair accessible. A BSL interpreter can be booked. A quiet room is also available.
