Southwark Climate Collective
Better Bankside
Do you work for a small or medium-sized business in Southwark? Are you ready to join a community of local businesses that are reducing carbon and cutting costs?
Most SMEs know that by making their businesses more sustainable, they could cut costs, boost their brand, and make their community a better place to live and work. The trouble is knowing where to start. The Southwark Climate Collective is here to help – a new 12-month programme designed to support SMEs in Southwark in taking action on climate change, supported by the Mayor of London.
The initiative, funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, will provide free, expert decarbonisation support for 160 businesses across Southwark to reduce carbon emissions, increase efficiency and cut costs. Participating businesses can choose to take part in one of four programme streams – waste, energy, freight and supply chains.
Eligibility requirements
This programme is open to all businesses in Southwark that have fewer than 250 employees based at their Southwark site. All sectors and occupancy types are eligible. Businesses with multiple sites in Southwark are eligible to apply for more than one space in the programme.
