This webinar brings those methods to life through practical and relevant case studies. It shares simple techniques that you can put into action to boost conversions and increase your turnover fast.

As part of the Grow London Local high street webinar series, join retail expert Sally Williams to explore the art of selling in a way that feels natural and customer-focused.

In this session, you will learn practical ways to:

  • Calculate your customer conversion rate and average transaction value, and identify methods to increase it.
  • Identify the seven stages of active selling and show you, using real case studies, how to use these techniques appropriately to increase turnover.
  • Use the five senses to create a positive customer experience, increase dwell time and sell time.

Guest speaker: Sally Williams, Retail Revival Ltd

Sally Williams is a fifth-generation retailer. After completing her English degree at the age of 21, she opened her first shop selling sportswear. She then became a training manager with a national sports retailer providing bespoke courses to more than 1,000 company employees.

A move to the public sector in 1997 enabled Sally to secure £5m from the European Social Fund, with which she developed an award-winning business academy, training and supporting 2,000 small businesses in Hertfordshire.

Sally launched Retail Revival Ltd in 2009 and quickly established a reputation for delivering excellent training programmes for independent businesses across London.

Retail Revival also activates pop-up shops and delivers markets, and Sally runs a vintage retail business in her spare time so that she can continue to experience life behind the counter. Retail is her joy!
