Your business can benefit from the cost savings programme in Tower Hamlets, following a successful pilot in Whitechapel. 

Tower Hamlets Council, in collaboration with Place Support Partnership, are fully funding this service for small local independent businesses in Tower Hamlets, to help you:​

  • Improve cashflow
  • Improve profitability
  • Free up capital to safeguard jobs/invest
  • Become cost efficient 

What support is available?

We will be providing three hours of support to each business. Our savings team will meet with you to understand your business costs.

We're here to support you in saving money on your costs! This includes savings on new contracts, advice on navigating the cost-of-doing-business crisis, and how to achieve the best value on essential services including:

Gas

We deal with all aspects of energy contracts, metering and connections. Working closely with providers, we aim to keep costs down and service up with the best UK business energy solutions.

Water

Our team will provide vital support by accurately comparing your water rates, allowing you to focus on your business while we conduct all the background work to simplify the process for you.

Insurance 

Every business needs insurance and the right type of insurance that has you fully covered. Ensure that you are covered and contact the PSP team for the right insurance for you.

Electricity

With prices at the highest levels in over a decade, it is as important as ever to secure the most competitive tariffs and packages or simply get some impartial advice on how to navigate the crisis.

Telecoms

From our initial assessment of your requirements, we can help establish a working environment that not only adds value to your business, but that is flexible as the business grows.

Merchant fees

Our bespoke procurement frameworks are designed to help you tap into the latest, best-in-class financial technology ecosystems, navigate through data protection, and cut out the time-consuming tendering process.

What will I receive?

  • Three hours of support from our experienced team
  • One-to-one support with expert business support consultants
  • Advice and guidance on how to save money and manage contracts
  • A detailed savings report and action plan to support your business, including details of how to realise the identified savings

Who is eligible? 

  • This programme is only for small local independent businesses in Tower Hamlets
  • Businesses who have already accessed support under the 'Whitechapel business cost savings project' will not be able to access support provided by this project
  • The business must be registered and operating in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets
  • The business must be an independently owned business 
  • The business must have been running for at least 12 months 
  • The business must not have more than 25 employees
