Affordable workspace providers
London Borough of Islington
The council appoints workspace operators to run the spaces it secures through planning obligations. In lieu of paying rent, operators charge affordable rents and deliver a range of services that benefit the local community and businesses, such as employment and skills initiatives, business advice and support, mentoring and networking and community engagement.
As well as being able to access affordable workspace, businesses and entrepreneurs can find networks for support and gain access to further training and development. Affordable workspace operators are also well-connected to upcoming funding programmes for businesses.
This initiative is applicable to freelancers, start-ups, small businesses and social enterprises in Islington. More information about the workspaces and operators can be found here.
