I help business owners when they get stuck with sales and marketing. The service is a free one-hour video call, where I will help the business leader understand their product or service in terms of the customer jobs they help with (value proposition).
Next, I will review how well the product fits with the stated market, helping the owner avoid generalisations and focusing on the sales potential, competitive landscape and marketing idea. Moving to the marketing funnel, I will test how well the business communicates the 'what's in it for me' (benefits) rather than what we make (features). In my experience, many SMEs fail to get their storytelling right.
I will also help them understand how to identify the pain points and gain points that will resonate with the target customer. Then, I will ask about their business plan, what goals they have set and what their 90-day priorities should be. The call will conclude with a series of action points to take away.
