Hackney’s Local Area Activation Fund

Calling all Hackney-based businesses, associations and partnerships. You can now apply for grants between £2,000 and £4,000 to fund high street and neighbourhood projects.
Following a successful first round that backed over 30 events across the borough, this new round provides targeted support to boost footfall and strengthen the local economy.
What the funding covers
Grants to support day-to-day project costs, including:
- Events and festivals: markets, pop-ups or seasonal events.
- Joint marketing: shared digital campaigns, local maps or town centre websites.
- Accessibility: high street guides and accessible marketing materials.
- Loyalty schemes and trails: cross-promotional rewards or themed tours.
Applications are open from Monday 1 June to Sunday 21 June 2026. Projects must benefit Hackney businesses and finish by 27 September 2026.
