Muddy Barkers is changing the game for dog owners in London – providing a convenient self-service dog wash, along with vending machines packed with pet essentials and treats (for those days you forget to bring your dog's favourite snack!).

Tell us about your business.
Hi, I'm Roshni Tulluri and I'm the owner and founder of Muddy Barkers.
Muddy Barkers provides self-service dog wash stations for dogs and their owners, and vending machines for dogs in locations such as parks, pubs and residential estates, bringing convenience to dog owners when they need it.
What challenges have you faced as a business owner?
One challenge I faced with Muddy Barkers very early on was around resourcing.
Not being able to carry out all the tasks required of running a small business all by myself. Whether it was marketing, business admin, finance or the operational side of the business, it became pretty clear early on I needed more resource support.

Once I explained what my challenges were, they were able to help me distil it very quickly in terms of what sort of resources I'd need. As with any new business, there's obviously cost constraints, so how can we actually fund resources as well as operate the business?
