As a beauty therapist, Zaynab is passionate about delivering beauty services to women who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access these in a traditional salon.
By seeing clients in their homes, Zaynab has built an inclusive practice that's supporting confident women across west London.
Having founded Zayk Beauty Therapies in 2019, Zaynab found Grow London Local through an eye-catching Facebook ad (her words!) about growing your London SME.
With this in mind, Zaynab spoke to a Business Support Manager who connected her to a specialist that could audit her website – giving her honest and constructive feedback that in turn helped her find new clients.

Tell us about your business.
My name is Zaynab and I'm the owner of Zayk Beauty Therapies based in West London.
What inspired you to launch Zayk Beauty?
I started my business in 2019 and I decided to launch as a mobile beauty and wellness therapist. What inspired me was that I see women who really needed this service but couldn't get it due to personal or professional reasons.
What are your biggest challenges as a business owner?
There have been a few challenges as a business owner. One of them was receiving clients. But also the funding has been a big challenge for me as well.
How were you introduced to Grow London Local?
I actually found Grow London Local through a Facebook ad. It was a very eye-catching ad about how to grow your business and the support and help available to small businesses.
How has Grow London Local helped you and your business?
The person from Grow London Local was able to put me in touch with a few companies that did a digital audit of my website and how I could improve it.
What are you most looking forward to when working with Grow London Local?
What I'm most looking forward to is getting help with marketing tips and strategies of how I can grow my business and have the visibility where I can go out and support more women who need complementary therapies.
Finally, what advice would you give to other small businesses in London?
My advice is to be consistent. Don't give up. Follow your dreams, follow your path and it will come.
